To My Valentine..

Let’s go on a blind date tonight
Just you and me,
leaving our flaws behind
Wouldn’t it be nice..

like the Star up there
Madly in love with the Moon
the dark and scarred Moon
The Star must be blind!

Just you and me,
Let’s go on a blind date tonight..

Blind to each other’s flaws
Flaws that once blissfully shined
Souls lit up like the Star
Let’s make our Moon glow tonight.

Let’s talk about our first date
Was it Winter or Spring
or the Autumn elate,
Was it the kohled night,
or a balmy summer day.
Ah all I recall is the Rhapsody
the way you looked in my eyes that night
On our first date.

Let’s talk about our first kiss
The way you held me in your arms
The feel of your sultry palms
Your kiss a soothing balm
the way you tenderly caroused
my Quavering lips.
Let’s talk about our first kiss.

It rained every night with you by my side
The rain of passion,
the rain of burning desires.
Was it our fire Darling
or were we simply blind.

You know it’s not the Wine
but the way you’d call my name,
set the fire ablaze.

Let’s light the hearth tonight
Let’s go on a blind date tonight
Just you and me,
leaving our flaws behind
Wouldn’t it be nice..

  1. This beautiful poem reminds me of all the people I love so much, family and friends, here and away, never forget the first time we see each other, we find each other, let’s celebrate that we still hold all the love we have to each other. Happy Valentine’s.
